Is there any movement to get a playoff system like March Madness for College Football?

It's so anticlimactic to have a bunch of anonymous guys in suits decide who should or should not be eligible to play for the BCS Championship. There's obviously a lot of revenue for the NCAA and its affiliates to be made off of bowl games, but can't the sponsors argue over whose name gets put on the sweet sixteen or final four games?
