I need some advice.....?

Ok, so there's this new kid at our school named Wes. He is really funny, sweet, nice, and...cute. Really cute. And for some reason, he overshadowed every drooling popular girl and found me. He always jokes around with me, flirts, and teases me. This has been going on for a month. I also had two of his friends tell me Wes likes me, but i've been hurt in the past by cruel jokes, so i was... a little aloof and didn't answer right away. I am starting to like him more and more. Then, yesterday, he told me he wanted to talk to me. Of course, i listened. He said, "there's two, no, one girl i really like in this school," so i got a little excited. "Her name in jena" not the name i was hoping for. Now it seems as if he just wants to be friends b/c he said that, but we continue hanigng out and he keeps flirting with me, but im really hurt now that i know he likes another girl..... What should i do? Please help me....
