Is it poss. 4 someone: c/o bladder spasms which causes their foley catheter to come out about once a week?

im a nurse, my pt.is saying that when she has a bladder spasm it pushes her foley out & needs it replaced. she has had her foley chngd 7 times in sept. alone. can someone give me some insight?pt is 35yo wf morbidly obese. also pt just finished iv abx for septic arthritis. alert and oriented.
