Any 'successful' women who had children at a young age and were broke??

Life can be so hard, but you do your best and cope as best you can. You do get through it and can come out a stronger person with the knowledge and experience gained. We live in a throw away world where you can survive on all those material comforts that others throw out. There has never been more help available for those that qualify for it. It will be OK. Things will improve, just give it time.
