Is thi guy nervous or interested ?

So me and this guy see each other but we have never really talked so a couple of days ago i caught him staring at me and i smiled back and he gave me such a huge smile. Then on the same day he for the first time talked to me on facebook and started the conversation by asking me if he wrote my name correctly,asked me why i was quiet. then gave me his opinion on stuff and told me what he was doing for march break. and then at the end if all his sentences he added a Laugh out loud (lol) then said he will talk to me later. could he be interested ?
