What is the usual salary of a Health Information Technician?
I already have all my college courses to get in the program but people tell me that it is hard to get a job as a HIM and salary is not much. I recently got my Nursing istant certification but no luck in finding a job since they all require experience here in Florida, and people tell me that I need to volunteer for a year to have one but being a single mom I need a salary. I was going to do Practical Nursing while I worked as a CNA but I am afraid it is going to be hard to get a job as an LPN as well because of the experience. Now I am trying to decide between this to careers and to decide as far as income which one is better for a newly single mom of one, and if someone who haves experience in this field could advice me I would appreciate.
