If you had a child who was totally opposite of you, how would you handle it?

You're doing great, mom. Just keep letting her be herself. I feel your pain. One of mine is an absolute diva (12) and the other (14) is a goth/skateboard girl/save the animals type. I'm somewhere between the two. It can be maddening, but it's fun to watch them find themselves.
