Is it ok if I feel as offended as a black-american about the "N" word when my God's name is used in vain?

All of TV and society is misusing my Lord's name and I think a law should be enacted to prevent this violation of my God's commandment "Thou shalt not take the Lord's name in vain". Christians deserve to have the same respect and protection by law from offensive language as any other member of society. Especially if such violates their teaching.
